Importance of Self Love

Many of us are just going through the motions of life and doing what is expected of us or searching or someone to love us and think that will make everything alright.

Tips to Deepen and Expand your Self-Love:

1). Accept yourself exactly as you are

Accept every part of you….your funny, silly, crazy, lazy, wild, loving, generous parts that make you “you” Learn to love yourself no matter what and you’ll begin to see how beautiful and unique you truly are.

  2). Nourish your body

Your body is a temple. Treat it as such, and provide it with nourishment from nutrient-rich whole foods.

  3). Connect with nature

Spend time reconnecting with Mother Earth. Nature holds deep healing energy.

  4). Use the Power of Mantras and Affirmations

Mantras like “I love myself unconditionally. I am beautiful. I am Kind. I am smart. I am powerful”. The eyes are the windows of the soul.

  5). Journey Inwards

Meditate to cleanse your mind of any “junk thoughts” or negative feelings you may have. This will create space to allow your mind to think positive, loving thoughts about yourself.

  6). Nurture your Energy

Treat yourself to a massage etc.. This will help reset your energetic pathways to allow the free flow of prana, which is your lifeforce energy so you can feel the best.

  7). Connect

Spend time connecting with people that you love and that love appreciates you as well. This will help reinforce how truly awesome and loved you are.

  8). Practice Yoga

Yoga is such a nourishing practice for your body, mind and soul. It’s one of the best ways to show gratitude and love to yourself.

  9). Smile

Even a forced smile changes the chemistry of your brain and releases feel-good neurotransmitters such as dopamine, endorphins and serototine. This creates happy thoughts and feelings. The more you make smiling a habit, the more it will come naturally and genuinely.
